just a note to say your work is unequalled, but whatdoiknow, having been on the planet for a mere 78+ years; writing with clarity, wit and charm is something the statheads will no doubt create a category for, but just keep keeping at it…you’ve been gifted

Godfather – First off, it’s nice to hear someone your age who isn’t afraid to take a look at numbers in a new way. Many people born prior to 1970 seem to have an active disdain for any new metrics that might shed light on the game.
Secondly, thanks so much for the kind words. A lot of the time in this industry people try to tear you down, so a kind note is always welcomed and appreciated.

Ray, non-PPR: need to fill 2 RB, 2 WR and 2RB/WR flex spots- right now leaning toward DeMarco Murray and MJD at RB and Dez Bryant and Andre Johnson at WR. For the 2 flex spots my choices are Blount, McGahee, Fred Jackson, Brandon Marshall, Ben Tate and Manningham. What do you think? Also, what do you predict for Manningham and Santana Moss the rest of the way? Thanks- Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family!!

I have been offered a trade in a PPR lg where I would get Steven Jackson and mike Wallace for Fred Jackson and demarco Murray. My other rb’s are sproles, ray rice, and Kevin smith. My other wr are fitzgerald, Laurent Robinson, anquan Boldin, and miles Austin. Would you do the trade? Thanks

Ryan – Jackson is out, happened after you sent the question. Go Blount and McGahee.
ROTW: Manningham has fallen to #3 behind Nicks and Cruz. His outlook is diminished.
Moss – when healthy he’ll be their top option along with Davis. Moss is a better add than Manningham at this point.
