Hey Ray,
In a deep 16-team, H2H-5×5 league that counts (2XSaves + Holds) as a cat instead of Saves, what do you think of trading Jose Lopez for Chapman? I can spare Lopez and need RP help (we start 4 RPs…I went all-in on Thornton this year (sigh), and my other three are Madson, Axford and Perry).
Another option is trade Uggla & Jose Lopez for Kendrick & Contreras…but I hate to be giving up the best player in the deal, Uggla, for a lower tier closer who might lose his job after the all-star break (Lidge return).
Any thoughts? Thanks.

Mike- Jose Lopez is average at best, and with Herrera on fire right now, his playing time will dip. Concerned about velocity loss with Chapman, but with your setup, it’s worth the shot.
I’d be interested in the deal you proposed, but as you stated, you’d be giving up the best guy, so it wouldn’t be the best move to make.

I have been offered a trade-
i would give up : Alex Gordon, Drabek, Aviles, Wilson Ramos
I would get back: Nolasco and Kurt Suzuki
This is not a keeper league.
What do you think?
The only player that I start is Ramos. Gordon is my 6th OF.

Brad – I’d keep Niese, but if you made the move, it’s a fine one, really close.
I dont like giving up four players. Who else are you going to be able to pick up to fill the open roster spots?
If they are solid player I’d do it. You’re getting the two best players for sure.

i ended up getting him to change nolasco for Brett Anderson.
