Ray,
First of all, thank you so much for your draft guide! It really helped me in my four drafts I had this spring!
I sent a trade offer in my 10-tm mixed H2H league. It’s a 6X6 (K’s for batters and BB’s for pitchers added) league, and this was my original proposal: I get David Wright and Tim Lincecum for Michael Young and Wandy Rodriguez.
He countered with Wright/Lincecum for Young and Wainwright (this is a STL-based league).
Should I make the deal? I also have Carlos Pena, Teixeria and Konerko on my team, so should I try to unload one of my other 1B instead of Young? We got two UTIL spots by the way.
Oh, and if it matters, I could keep Lincecum or Wainwright for $2 next year if I choose…
Thanks for all your help!
Lastly, that was a helluva game last night between the Blues and the Sharks… I’ve been looking forward to this series all week!

Hey Ray,
Do you think I should trade my entire team for the young woman pictured above? I’m thinking yes.

Ray, I have 2 questions : Who do you think is going to be the better utility player for my roster: espisosa, infante, or smoak? And when do you think Josh Johnson will get his mojo back? Thanks for your time.

Jason – Glad you rocked the drafts amigo.
I dont think that Wainwright is a 200 IP guy. Not his first year back from surgery. Also don’t think he’ll be as effective as he was at his peak this yr.
I’d do the deal BUT Wright could end up on the DL today with that pinkie issue, so I’m really hesitant to say do it. I don’t like trading for hurt guys if it’s player of this magnitude.
Go Sharks!

Cliff Prince – It depends, is it a keeper league? If so, deal away!

Matt K – Of the three options you mentioned, I’d go Espinosa. He’s the best overall talent.
JJohnson = Make sure you type a guys name into the SEARCH bar at the top on the right hand side. I just wrote about Johnson yesterday. http://baseballguys.com/2012/04/12/mailbag-april-12-2012/

Raymond – trying to decide on a R. Zimmerman for my Holliday deal. Noticed you have them at very similar $ values in the guide. We count AVG and OPS and have a CI spot. My supporting cast at 3B: Youk, Prado. My very deep OF: CarGo, Holliday, Hamilton, Victorino, Prado, Bourjos, Boesch. Thoughts, my good man?

Jon – If you want to move Holliday to get Zimmerman, don’t have a problem with it, especially since Prado can play OF.
