Hey Ray I have to bench two of these guys in my h2h league next week, who would you sit down? I appreciate it a lot.
Greinke (CHC), Dan Hudon (OAK), Wainwright (HOU), Dickey (WAS), Haren (COL), Hanson (TOR), and Parker (TEX/ARI).

  2. By Ray Flowers on Jun 3, 2012

Zach – Two start guys are tough to bench, but TEX is not an offense I want to face, and ARI is a tough place to pitch. I’m out on Parker. Second non-starter would be Hanson.

    Ray,

I always listen to your advice. Best in the business. But please don’t get angry with this question.

Mark Reynolds or Anthony Rizzo… ROS
    Thanks for everything.

hi, ray. 12 team head-to-head category league.
i can trade zobrist for garza or scherzer. if i do it, i’d play beckham or daniel murphy at 2B. fair trade for me? who would you rather have between garza and scherzer?

  6. By Ray Flowers on Jun 3, 2012

Nick – Really appreciate the support amigo.

I’ll try to hold back my anger… lol

    Reynolds.

No telling when Rizzo comes up. No telling how he will perform (he was awful last year). Seems like he could still be a month away, if not more, if you read between the lines.

Take the veteran with the massive power.

JoeM – Cozart is borderline useless. Gordon = ditto. Beltran and Samard, good value but – Beltran huge health Risk, and JS has never thrown 150 innings as a pro.

Pedroia hurt. Barney solid but boring as all heck in mixed, and CY not healthy, but that’s 20/20 talent there.

I’d take the trio, but it’s a risk given Pedroia’s health.

Ray: in my 12 team 6×6 h2h, I can trade McDonald and Szamardjia for either Price, whos keepable for one year after this, or Darvish, who’s keepable for 2. (my other SPs are CC, Bumg, Norris, Lynn, Vogelsong and Doubront. What do you think? If both are good deals, which is better? THANKS!

David – Beckham/Murphy are a passable duo in a 2 tm mixed lg. If you can trade Zobrist for Garza or Scherzer, I’d say do it.

Scherzer is the higher upside play – I’m a huge fan – but Garza is under consistent an a safer bet to add.

Keeper question of the night. Can keep forever. H2H league 6 cats with total bases added.

    Trout or Stanton?

James T - Can keep forever. H2H league 6 cats with total bases added. Trout or Stanton?

No wrong answer here. TB’s might tilt things a bit toward Stanton, but I’m going Trout. Not only is he highly likely to be a better option in the AVG category, he’s also likely to blow away Stanton in steals. Again, no wrong answer though.

Ray – After coming off of the DL do you like Carlos Lee or LaHair going forward in a 5×5 roto? I should have listened and traded LaHair a few weeks ago. Thanks!

  13. By Jeremy on Jun 4, 2012

Hey Ray… Closers are the bane of my existence, I have to drop one to make room for Allen Craig coming off the DL. Which one of these two do I hang on to going forward — Soriano or Reed?

Also, is Pedroia worth putting in my lineup this week? I can plug Zobrist in at 2B and start Craig in the OF. Thank you sir!

  14. By Ray Flowers on Jun 4, 2012

Mark – I’d still take Carlos Lee. Qualifies at two spots, has a track record. Let’s hope he gets dealt to a better club.

  15. By Ray Flowers on Jun 4, 2012

Jeremy – I’d keep Reed. Soriano shouldn’t be dropped though (Yanks seem committed to him as 9th inn guy, but when Robertson is fully healthy could be a question), must be traded, don’t just let him go.

I’d play Craig at second and bench Pedroia this week just to be safe (in one of my leagues I even played Darwin Barney this week over Pedroia).
