Ray,
A friend talked me into joining his fantasy football league, but it’s only 8 teams, with passing TDs worth 6 points.
1. Any general strategies you can give me in a league this small where everybody has an all-star team?
2. Your top 8?
3. What draft position would you choose if you had the option?
PS Bailing is not an option. I can’t back out. Thanks.

Fish – 8 tm lgs…
Do NOT draft a QB early. No reason to.
Load up on WR/RBs.
No need to take a 2nd QB, 2nd TE – you can just add off waivers.
I’d choose 8th. You get to get two of top-9 guys that way.

Hey Ray ~ I’m in a 12 team Roto league where it’s a battle between 1st and 5th. For the last month of the season i can use a shot in the arm in Runs and Steals. I have Dexter Folwer but would Jon Jay or Carlos Gomez be a better add? Or maybe a rookie call up (hamilton)? Thanks for all you do.

Joe – You have to follow me on Twitter: @BaseballGuys
I posted a link there about Hamilton. Looks like he will NOT be called up. You can find more about that at: http://fantasyalarm.com/rounding-the-bases-september-call-ups-trout-dunn-and-oswalt/
I’ve always been a big fan of Fowler. If he can just stay healthy, I’d still favor him.

YO YO YO… Thanks again for spotlighting Matt Harvey a few weeks ago. Now, an unfair, obscure issue. Since Carlos Ruiz went out, I’ve been hurting at C. Is Travis D’anoud of Toronto a risky pick to replace Eric Kratz?

DaFightens – D’Arnaud is likely out for the season.
