    Ray, in 9 team NL only auction keeper where the best hitters typically go for $35-40, is Carl Crawford a keeper for $15 next year? He would also keep that price tag the following season. I know TJ surgery isn’t as bad for hitters but when can we realistically expect him to play again? We do have 12 man reserve squads and my team is pretty loaded so I can afford the carrying ‘cost’. Many thanks!

    Fish – Crawford is totally worth $15 in NL only leagues for next season. If you can also keep him at that for 2014, even better. As long as he’s healthy he will be productive, and there is no way he doesn’t return that value if he plays 140 games, even if he is no longer elite.

    I’m very disappointed in Lawrie this year but is he a better keeper than Headley. Right now I’m leaning towards Lawrie. What are your thoughts. Thanks.

    Quick football question, Ray, after my deadline deals for Price, Bumgarner, J Zimmerman, Vogelsong SUNK my season instead of saving it!

    Wondering if your TE thoughts have changed at all after 2 weeks, as I’m looking for a Hernandez replacement.

    Would you rank pickups in non-PPR, standard scoring: Celek, Bennett, Pitta?

    Andy – My thoughts on Carpenter = not trusting a guy who hasn’t thrown a meaningful pitch this year. Ditto Pettitte.

    John – Lawrie had expectations that were WAY too high. Some people had him top-30 overall, crazy. I had Lawrie at #12 at third in my final rankings.

    At this point, I’d still keep him over Headley, even though Headley has obviously had the way better year.

    10 team keeper lg 30 man roster. Just offered a trade of darvish wainwright or matt Cain (any 2) for Bryce Harper. What’s your thoughts?

    Joe Gigs – I’d be inclined to take Cain/Darvish. Of course, it matters who you already have rostered. QUESTION – is this a dynasty lg where you keep all 30 players?
