I am without nicks, forte, Bradshaw , probably Maclin and maybe Steven Jackson. How does someone lose that many players in one week. Any advice. Thanks.

John – Nicks is likely to play (silver lining). But yeah, that’s rough. I had the following last week: Cutler, Marshall, Maclin and CJ2K on one of my teams…

Nicks was downgraded to out a little while ago. And I’m a giants fan so it’s a big blow. These Thursday games are a killer.

John – Gulp… Nicks it out. Sorry amigo.
And yes, as I’ve been saying since the schedule came out the NFL, in it’s pursuit to make money, doesn’t give a damn about the players health or the competitive balance of the league. It’s quite a shame.

Hey Ray,
I hope that 30 team league is going well for you. What are your thoughts on starting Greinke (tex) and Magic Wandy(mil) tonight, and Marcum (was) tomorrow?
As always, thanks for your advice and good luck this weekend.

Harvey shut down for the rest of the season. Need another option for starting pitcher. Alex Cobb, Chris Tillman, and Travis Wood are my best options. Who should I pick up?
Thanks for everything this season Ray. Eight leagues this year. Top 3 in all with legit shot to win half. All thanks to your advice here and on the radio.

Randy – I’d say Edleman too, but he’s more of a desperation play, which does seem to git your situation.
Charles bruised his knee last week – they just reported it. Says he’s not 100% but should play. Give him some time. He should round into form.

Morgan – These one game starts always trouble. Never an easy thing to predict one day events. I’d say it depends on where you are at. If you are in a roto lg, check to see where you are in the standings. If it’s H2H you have to be more inclined to use them. I’d go Greinke/Wandy. I’m not trusting Marcum right now.
In the dynasty lg good start – I’m 2-0 with the second most pts in the lg.
By Ray Flowers on Sep 20, 2012
Mike – I’d add Tillman.
Good luck down the stretch. I hope it comes out well for ya.

This one is killing me.
Pick 2 (non-ppr): Jamaal Charles, Alfred Morris, and/or Andre Brown.
Thanks!
By Ray Flowers on Sep 20, 2012
Michael – If I was you, I’d go Charles and Morris, but I can understand wanting to go Brown over Charles given Charles’ minor knee woes.

Thanks for all the help Ray. A football question for you this time.
Been offered CJ2K for Ridley. Before the season this is a no brainer. Is CJ already a bust or do I do the deal?
By Ray Flowers on Sep 20, 2012
Mike – Many might turn down, but I will accept and get Cj2k. My thoughts here:
